Known as cvanDOTnet, I am a mixed media artist based in California, USA. I'm self-taught and have been drawing for as long as I can remember.
I’m inspired by the beauty of animals and nature. I enjoy portraying them in my style.
My favorite tools to create art are watercolors, black/white ink, and pencil. Most of the time I begin with watercolor and refine the details with pencil or ink. Other times I start with pencil and follow with watercolor- adding ink last to create highlights and depth. That’s the beauty of art- creative freedom to use these tools in no particular order to create something unique.
